Performance and Installation
"Rich And Fabulous" is the name that artists Deej Fabyc and Elvis Richardson use for their collaborative projects.
This first project searched successfully for a connection point in the two artists practice. Fabyc was the body or perhaps fetishized living- dead object, with her head in a hole in the wall which contained a video camera that videoed her face.
Richardson typed up a live report from police radio (broadcast via a scanner) on a vintage typewriter, smoking cigarettes incessantly.
A screen of flax leaves blocked out the window and photographs taken by each artist of potential crime scenes in the building were exhibited with collaborative poems associated with the photographs.
