Performance

In this work the artist opens a large parcel wrapped in multiple layers of paper while sing "Happy Birthday to Me" to herself. Beneath the layers a human skull is revealed. The artist smears the skull with sugar and lube and proceeds to perform a ritual of loving licking on the skull that for the artist is a symbol of the sexualized maternal bond.
