Tender’s room was a film where the artist precisely edited sentence by sentence a series of backlit interviews where subjects to speak about loss, death and how mental illness is spoken of. Euphemisms, pauses, and narrative breaks create a claustrophobic and compelling portrait of three deceased women. One of the women was the artists mother.
